NWT Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy duty equipment repair and maintenance, with a focus on troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field, with a strong understanding of computerized testing equipment and the ability to diagnose faults and malfunctions. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment
  • Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts
  • Testing repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work
  • Verifying and repairing emission control systems

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40 hour work week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
