Cobs Bread Lougheed is seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory pastries, breads, and cakes.

About the Role

As a Pastry Chef at Cobs Bread Lougheed, you will be responsible for preparing dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.

You will also be expected to bake mixed dough and batters, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, operate machinery, organize and maintain inventory, and oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods. You must also be physically demanding and able to work under pressure.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 and $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
