Product Demonstrator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Product Demonstrator to join our team at Costco. As a Product Demonstrator, you will be responsible for introducing new products to our customers and providing an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and create brand awareness through product demonstrations
- Dynamically sell products to customers and meet sales targets
- Assist other team members as required in a team-oriented environment
- Set up and organize merchandise, prepare vendor products according to written instructions
- Coordinate, organize, and close down work area, including cleaning and sanitizing, washing and drying dishes, and proper storage of equipment
- Adhere to all food safety handling and sanitation training and guidelines
- Participate and adhere to all safety policies and practices
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to ensure high levels of service and quality are maintained
- Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle fast-paced work environment
- Professional food safety certification required
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
- Must be able to work flexible hours and schedule, including weekends
Working Environment
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a retail in-store environment, standing for long periods of time, and lifting up to 10 kg. The use of proper safety practices when handling products and cooking is essential.
