Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Alberta Ltd. o/a Petro Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will work closely with our operations team to ensure that our buildings are safe and clean for our employees and visitors. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in cleaning, maintenance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
- Dust furniture and fixtures, as well as vacuuming carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
- Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, ensuring a high level of hygiene and sanitation.
- Handle and report lost and found items, providing excellent customer service to our visitors.
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a sparkling clean environment.
- You will have basic security clearance and be bondable.
- Have own transportation to get to work.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Be physically demanding, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Punctuality and teamwork are essential qualities for this role.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train on-the-job.
- 35 hours per week.
- Permanent position.
- English is the primary language used in the workplace.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000-$55,000 CAD, based on industry standards and location.
