Job Overview

This is a dynamic opportunity for a Business Growth and Development Specialist to join Chubb in Western Canada, supporting the region's business growth and development. The role will be based in Calgary, with limited travel required throughout the region.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide support to District Leader teams and the Agency Director of the area in three key areas: Quality Business, Sales Engagement, and Persistency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing quality business inspections, sales practices, and other QB items
  • Liaising between Head Office, Divisional/Regional offices, and Independent Contractors on communication, new processes, and business aspects involving contractors
  • Following insurance industry requirements, company regulations, and making recommendations affecting quality and growth of DL/Regional Operations
  • Ensuring compliance of Company operations in accordance with regulatory authorities within the Province(s)
  • Conducting verification and working with compliance department to report irregularities
  • Following up and ensuring corrective measures are implemented for District field audits
  • Taking corrective action on repetitive red flags
  • Working with legal, government, and law enforcement agencies as needed
  • Monitoring competitive situations/representative system usage
  • Statistics and Performance reporting

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An undergraduate degree
  • 3-5 years of sales experience and administrative experience would be an asset
