**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Mackenzie Health. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional support to our patients and staff.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Operate, maintain, and order office and hospital equipment and supplies, ensuring efficient workflows.
  • Input data accurately and efficiently, including admissions, transfers, and discharges, as well as consults, labels, and work lists on EPIC.
  • Respond promptly to telephone inquiries and call bells, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

**Requirements:**

  • Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Prior experience in an administrative/clerical role, preferably within a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent keyboarding skills (40 wpm).
  • Experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to effectively de-escalate situations and demonstrate empathy.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Previous experience as a Unit Secretary.
  • EPIC, EPF, ESP experience.
