We offer competitive salaries based on experience and qualifications. The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per annum, depending on your background and performance.

Job Description: Commission Automation Specialist

As a Commission Automation Specialist at Salesforce, you'll play a pivotal role in driving sales success by streamlining commission management processes. You'll collaborate closely with our Sales team and clients to understand their commission-related challenges and showcase the value of our Spiff platform.

Your primary goal will be to ensure prospects see the true potential of our solution and its impact on their organization. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for SaaS technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Pre-Sales Support: Partner with Account Executives to craft tailored solutions showcasing Spiff's capabilities. Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demos, and customized proof-of-concepts.
  2. Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Spiff's product offerings and technical aspects of sales commission automation. Serve as a technical advisor and product expert throughout the sales cycle.
  3. Solution Design: Work with clients to identify commission management needs, providing guidance on best practices and strategies for implementing Spiff within their organizations.
  4. Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to address client-specific requirements, feedback, and questions, ensuring the Spiff platform meets or exceeds expectations.
  5. Problem Solving: Diagnose potential technical challenges and proactively develop solutions to support successful product adoption and onboarding.
  6. Customer Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, building trust and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
  7. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest product developments, industry trends, and competitor solutions to provide strategic insights to clients and internal teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Engineering or similar role, ideally within a SaaS, FinTech, or enterprise software environment. Experience in sales commission, finance, or a related domain is a plus.
  3. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and cloud technologies; proficiency with APIs, CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred), and data integration tools is desirable.
  4. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex technical information for various audiences.
  5. Sales Acumen: Experience working in a sales-driven environment, with a focus on exceeding targets and supporting complex sales cycles.
  6. Problem-Solving Ability: Proven analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach; capable of quickly identifying technical challenges and proposing effective resolutions.
  7. Team Player: A collaborative mindset with a focus on supporting and driving cross-functional efforts to close deals and deliver client success.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Familiarity with sales commission structures, performance incentives, or financial calculations.
  2. Experience working with agile methodologies and/or familiarity with commission automation solutions.
  3. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-growing, high-energy startup environment.
