About this role

Mozilla Corporation is seeking an experienced HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) manager to lead the design, architecture, implementation, and deployment of new functionality in our HRIS systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions and other HR-related systems, and will be responsible for ensuring that our HRIS systems meet the strategic and operational needs of the organization.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the design, architecture, implementation, and deployment of new HRIS functionality to align with business objectives.
  • Configure, customize, and deploy Workday modules (Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Talent Management, and Absence) to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Drive the implementation of HRIS solutions, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise applications and systems, including Workday, Culture Amp, Greenhouse, and Tristar.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize HRIS processes to improve efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for application usage across the organization.
  • Work with Workday SMEs, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Collaborate with the People Team and other departments to align initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Architect and lead HRIS-related projects, including planning, execution, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials.
  • Oversee data integrity, security, and compliance within the HRIS systems.
Requirements
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Workday HCM implementation and management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in Workday HCM and its related modules.
  • Proficiency in system integration, data management, and reporting within HRIS applications.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Culture Amp, Greenhouse, Tristar, and Looker.
