Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Art Director to join our team at McCann Canada.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on conceptual development of unignorable and unorthodox ideas and execute creative deliverables with flawless execution. As an Art Director, you will balance creative thinking with interpersonal skills, justifying concepts to both the client and project team.

Your projects will be smart, kickass, and beautifully crafted, ensuring a positive working relationship with client contacts.

  • Attend and participate fully in briefs, product group meetings, and client presentations.
  • Present creative work and rationales to product groups and clients for discussion and approval.
  • Create persuasive art and copy that engages target audiences and follows brand tone of voice.
  • Partner with production teams to develop formats achieving strategic objectives and maximizing production budget.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, maintaining quality and budget control throughout all aspects of art, file prep, and broadcast production processes.
About You

We are looking for a team player with 3+ years of experience as an Art Director. Your portfolio should demonstrate exceptional creativity and ability to create motivating consumer ideas.

You must have strong attention to detail and accuracy, be a proactive self-starter, and have proven experience developing progressive digital, direct, and social projects.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as an Art Director.
  • Demonstrated expertise in performing various communication assignments across mediums.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional creativity and innovative ideas.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects efficiently.
