Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Allan Park Motor Sales. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
- Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports, to support business decision-making.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Skills: Proficient in data analysis software, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
- Personal Qualities: Dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliable, and a team player.
This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
