Senior Practice Leader, Clinical Prevention Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practice Leader to join our team at the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC). As a key member of our Clinical Prevention Services team, you will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of strategies to reduce the incidence of tuberculosis (TB) in British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of provincial guidelines and standards of practice for TB control programs.
- Provide expert clinical consultation and leadership to public health practitioners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote evidence-based practice and share knowledge about current research and literature.
- Develop and implement educational programs to support staff in implementing evidence-based practice.
- Provide leadership for the provincial implementation and evaluation of new and expanded TB programs.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate provincial collaboration.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate appropriate educational programs based on ongoing needs assessment.
- Provide leadership and expert advice on staffing and care delivery approaches.
- Represent BCCDC on external committees and with external bodies as required.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field and a minimum of five years of recent, related clinical experience in TB and public health nursing.
- Eligible for registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as an effective member of an interdisciplinary care team.
