HVAC Product Technical Advisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Product Technical Advisor to provide technical support and training for our residential and light commercial HVAC products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HVAC mechanics and a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical assistance to customers via email, telephone, or on-site visits to resolve technical issues related to our HVAC products.
  2. Develop and implement training programs for customers and internal staff to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to install and maintain our products.
  3. Collaborate with the BC Sales Management Team to ensure all staff stays informed about new product information, installations, services, and user manuals.
  4. Act as a backup resource for other technical support functions as needed.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 10 years of field experience providing service support for HVAC products.
  2. Hold an HVAC Mechanic, Technician, or other relevant certification related to the HVAC field.
  3. Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of residential & light commercial air conditioning and heat pump systems, with proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  4. Familiarity with ductless split systems and VRF technology.
  5. Exhibit good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
