At Broad Peak Construction Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with experience in using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. They will also be proficient in accounting software, database software, and Microsoft Office.
The Financial Operations Assistant will work closely with our accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. They will also be responsible for preparing tax returns and reconciling accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll
- Calculating fixed assets and depreciation
- Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements
- Preparing tax returns
- Reconciling accounts
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be able to communicate effectively with our accounting team and other stakeholders.
