Furniture Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Furniture Craftsman to join our team at Caveman Granite And Quartz Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces.

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a permanent full-time position with 30-40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience in woodworking or cabinetmaking. Instructing apprentices, studying plans and specifications, trimming joints, sanding wooden surfaces, and applying veneer or polish are some of the key tasks involved in this role.

• Instructing apprentices and providing guidance and support as needed;
• Studying plans and specifications to understand design requirements;
• Trimming joints and fitting parts together to form complete units;
• Sanding wooden surfaces and applying veneer, stain, or polish to finished products;
• Applying varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products;
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment;
• Supervising other workers and ensuring they follow safety protocols;
• Estimating costs and materials required for projects;
• Repairing or restyling wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
