We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at SSL Custom Machining Ltd. as a Precision Tool Setter. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools, repairing machine tools and parts, and maintaining inspection records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate setup and operation of machine tools.
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to meet specific requirements and tolerances.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance and extend tool life.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and complete inspection reports to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
