We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at SSL Custom Machining Ltd. as a Precision Tool Setter. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools, repairing machine tools and parts, and maintaining inspection records.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate setup and operation of machine tools.
- Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to meet specific requirements and tolerances.
- Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance and extend tool life.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and complete inspection reports to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
