Child Development Assistant

The Supported Child Development Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring children with support needs can participate fully in their chosen childcare settings. As part of a collaborative childcare team, this role aims to promote inclusivity and ensure the child/ren they support are fully integrated into the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supplementary staffing support to childcare settings to ensure children with support needs can participate fully.
- Work collaboratively with childcare setting staff, parents, and families to create an inclusive environment.
- Support children with support needs to participate in all aspects of the program.
Requirements
- Certificate in child development, such as Early Childhood Education, Special Needs Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with children with support needs and their families.
