**Job Summary:**

The Renewal Specialist will be responsible for achieving a renewals quota based on their assigned portfolio. To accomplish this, they will follow a standardized renewals process with a set cadence of emails and phone touchpoints. The Specialist will also be required to upsell, overcome objections to renewals, and understand the process flow to successfully see through a renewal from start to finish in a timely manner.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Identify and track expiration of upcoming renewals via our CRM system and initiate the appropriate sales cadence per the renewals process.
  • Action all relevant renewal opportunities by engaging with relevant channel partners or customer contacts based on history, engaging relevant Semtech sales personnel where necessary, identifying potential opportunities for upsell, following up with the customer/partner to ensure there are no obstacles to the renewal, and ensuring timely receipt of the customer purchase order and processing of service.
  • Manage any potential issues/escalations and engage appropriate resources or self-manage where appropriate with the support of the leadership team.

**Requirements:**

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical or SaaS sales role.
  • Experience with the end-to-end selling cycle through a channel network.
  • A proven track record of customer service and satisfaction, teamwork, sales success.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with professional business acumen.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and strong self-motivation.
  • Experience using Salesforce, MS Excel.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field, Business, or Marketing.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is CAD $53,000 - $60,000. The base salary is determined by factors including job-related qualifications, skills, education, and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee's total compensation package.
