Job Summary

Canadian Tire Hillside (Store 365) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. As a key member of our receiving team, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are received, verified, stored, and transported to the sales floor or warehouse in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, scan, verify, and store all incoming and overstock products according to established procedures and policies.
  • Ship returns and complete paperwork.
  • Responsible for garbage disposal, cardboard recycling, and the disposal of broken products in accordance with store policy.
  • Repair broken packages as needed.
  • Report damaged goods to Management.
  • Operate computer and scanning tools and enter all relevant coding in Canadian Tire systems.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of all warehouse equipment (forklift, skyjack, etc.).
Requirements
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Physically fit – ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Results-oriented individual.
  • Comfortable with technology.
  • Ability to complete detail-oriented retail tasks according to instructions and to demonstrate responsibility for outcomes.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment that provides assistance and support to co-workers to achieve common goals.
  • Positive attitude, punctuality, and solid work ethic.
