About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Public Health Nurse for First Nations communities in Manitoba. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing services and work collaboratively with community members to promote health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing services, including public health programs, immunizations, and maternal and child health care
  • Collaborate with community members and healthcare teams to develop and implement health promotion initiatives
  • Travel to remote and isolated areas to deliver health services and support community outreach
What You Will Need
  • A degree in nursing from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • Recent experience as a Registered Nurse providing public health or community healthcare services
  • Experience working with Indigenous populations and knowledge of their cultural practices
  • Ability to travel extensively and work in varying weather conditions
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $81,513 to $92,653 per year, based on qualifications and experience. You will also have access to benefits, including health insurance, pension plan, and paid time off.

The successful candidate must be willing to maintain current certification as a Registered Nurse with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba and complete any required education or training relevant to the position.
