Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Manager to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the supervision and performance management of advisors to ensure the adoption, sustainment, and effective use of contact and sales planning tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance to MD standards, policies, and procedures, as well as identifying and implementing applicable action plans to address deficiencies.
  • Manage escalated client complaints in a timely and customer-focused manner.
  • Direct day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with the Bank's risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits.
  • Create an environment in which your team pursues effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles.
  • Build a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates your team.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  • Conduct and Practices Handbook for Securities Industry Professionals (CPH)
  • Life Licensed Qualification Program (LLQP) Insurance of persons and Group insurance of persons (Including the 6 and 12 weeks probationary period)
  • In addition to having a breadth and depth of financial services product knowledge, you are also experienced with MS Office applications.
  • You are comfortable in an agile work environment.
