Molecular Biology Research Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Molecular Biology Research Specialist to join our Senneville site. As a key member of our Molecular Biology team, you will perform sample analysis work in a laboratory environment, interpret data to ensure accuracy and quality, and document results according to company policies and standards.
Responsibilities:- Conduct DNA and RNA purification assays, as well as qPCR and RT-qPCR assays on various platforms, including Quantstudio, QXone (ddPCR), Maxwell, Quantigen, and Nanostring.
- Develop, validate, and test methods for sample analysis.
- Document analytical data according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) guidelines.
- Collaborate with scientific staff to optimize methods and improve processes.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A DEC in Science (Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory, or equivalent) or a BAC in Science (Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry).
- The ability to work under time constraints, with outstanding organizational skills and adaptability.
- Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to quality work.
- A self-starter attitude, collaborative spirit, and positive mindset.
- Excellent reading comprehension in English is mandatory; bilingualism in French and English is preferred.
