About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to assist our experienced technicians in the preparation of dental prosthetics. As a Dental Laboratory Assistant Professional, you will be responsible for preparing plaster models and moulds, casting gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases, and polishing and buffing dentures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist senior technicians in the production of dental prosthetics, including preparing plaster models and moulds.
- Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases.
- Polish and buff dentures to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays for use in dental procedures.
- Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental laboratory setting.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable and dependable with strong interpersonal skills.
- A competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience.
