What is the Opportunity?
Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Personal Banking & Commercial Banking Data Strategy team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying advanced marketing models to maximize client acquisition and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced marketing models using machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to frame use cases and define success metrics.
- Work with large and varied structured and unstructured data to train and deploy models.
- Develop and maintain state-of-the-art machine learning models, including feature engineering, model training, and model inference.
- Monitor model performance and business success metrics over time.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing science/data science in digital marketing, sales, eCommerce, or related field.
- Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and machine learning, including deep learning.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, including relevant statistical and machine learning libraries.
- Good foundations in SQL, big data frameworks, and cloud computing.
