About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Community Manager and Social Media Strategist to join our team at Techo-Bloc. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness on Instagram and TikTok.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness on Instagram and TikTok;
- Create and curate engaging content, including videos, images, and captions, tailored to each platform's audience and trends;
- Foster a sense of community by engaging with followers, responding to comments/messages, and initiating conversations;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with marketing campaigns, product launches, and events;
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, track trends, and identify opportunities for optimization and growth;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, features, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing social media accounts, particularly Instagram and TikTok, for a brand or organization;
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, analytics tools, and performance metrics;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for content creation;
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to coordinate projects & make things happen;
- Demonstrated passion for community building and fostering meaningful interactions;
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software is a plus;
- No formal education required.
