About the Opportunity

Outlier is seeking voice experts to help improve the world's most innovative companies' AI models through human feedback. This project focuses on training audio machine-learning models to better understand human speech and emotions, making them more friendly and compassionate.

Responsibilities:

  • Record your voice for short conversations expressing different emotions, accents, and audio modulations.
  • Review and provide feedback on recordings by other users.

Requirements:

  • Native fluency in English.
  • Experience in voice-related work, such as voiceover acting, podcast recording, or audio narration.
  • Access to a high-fidelity microphone and a quiet location for recordings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in on-screen or on-stage acting, stand-up comedy, vocal music, therapy, teaching, or life coaching.
  • Able to express a wide range of emotions through voice and do accents or impressions.

Compensation:

  • Pay rates for core project work by voice experts range from $40 to $60 per hour USD.
