Aversan is currently seeking a highly skilled Precision Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Mississauga, ON.

This role offers a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

About the Role

In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of parts, assemblies, and systems to verify conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Utilizing metrology instruments and CMM equipment to accurately measure and analyze parts.
  • Interpreting complex engineering drawings, schematics, and process plans.
  • Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other team members to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintaining detailed inspection records and documentation.
  • Adhering to strict quality management system (QMS) procedures and safety protocols.
  • Interface with in-house DND QAR during interim/final inspection of equipment.
Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in quality control or assurance.
  • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficiency in using metrology instruments and CMM equipment.
  • Excellent mathematical and blueprint reading skills.
  • Knowledge of calibration methods and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and quality management software (TIPQA) is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Education

A post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, quality engineering, or a related field is required.
