About the Role:

As a Senior Risk Management Director at TD, you will lead the High Risk Investigations team in delivering programme demands, providing oversight, advice, and support for control-related functions. You will execute on strategic direction from a broad and diverse range of complex global FCRM programme activities, enhancing and developing simplified and effective HRI frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures in coordination with management in line with TD's FCRM Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee programme demands of the HRI execution, providing oversight, advice, and support for control-related functions.
  2. Execute on strategic direction from a broad and diverse range of complex global FCRM programme activities.
  3. Enhance and develop simplified and effective HRI frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures in coordination with management in line with TD's FCRM Programme.
  4. Work with executive team, senior business management/partners to develop proactive strategies, tactics, policies, and programmes to effectively manage regulatory/compliance issues.
  5. Lead role in managing and responding to periodic exams/audits and various regulatory bodies related to accountabilities.
  6. Provide guidance, leadership, coaching, and development to ensure operational results and professional/personal development objectives are achieved.

Requirements:

Undergraduate degree, advanced degree, professional accreditation, and/or 10+ years relevant industry experience in AML. Mandatory: strong and proven expertise in AML programme management and strong understanding of AML regulations, exam management, audit, and issues management and programme execution. Strong writing skills, and use of MS tools with proven skill in developing presentations (PowerPoint) and Excel.
