Cyber Security Architect

About the Role:
Sobeys is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive security architectures, frameworks, and solutions tailored to the organization's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing security architectures, frameworks, and solutions to protect the organization's assets and data.
- Conducting threat risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Contributing to the review of internal processes and activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Identifying and documenting technology-related risks in the IT risk register.
- Proactively identifying potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Developing comprehensive threat models to understand and anticipate potential attack vectors.
- Conducting security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to implement security solutions.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in threat risk management and/or cyber project management.
- Experience working in a global IT service environment with vendor relationship/portfolio management experience.
- Understanding of network security architecture, wireless security, and application security.
- Azure, GCP, and AWS services knowledge is an asset.
- Experience with threat modeling tools or OWASP Top 10 is an asset.
- Working knowledge of risk management standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO, COSO).
- Hold a professional certification (CRISC, CIA, CISA, CISM, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of IT controls, IT security, and strong knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, NIST, CSF, and ITIL frameworks.
