The Warehouse Lead will oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage warehouse at Vancouver Centre, ensuring timely and efficient deployment of products to internal distribution points. This role involves leading a team of Food Runners, verifying product received from vendors, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy products to internal distribution points in a timely and efficient manner
  • Verify product received from vendors meets quality standards
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records
  • Delegate daily workload to Food Runners
  • Assist with daily and monthly inventory audits and counts
  • Contact vendors regarding product/delivery issues
  • Ensure departmental sanitation standards are maintained

Requirements:

  • Two years' work experience in an arena, hotel, casino, or similar environment
  • Ability to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with varying start times
  • Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shift and withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending
  • Previous experience working in a team lead or supervisory role
