Order Desk Representative

As a Bilingual Order Desk Representative, you will play a vital role in processing customer orders, maintaining account credit/debit charges, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Process customer orders according to detailed departmental programs, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor and track special price programs or promotions, advising customers and internal staff of any changes.
- Ensure accurate customer order data is entered into SAP, including account information, item/quantities, distribution methods, payment modes, and delivery terms.
- Prepare purchase orders in SAP according to sales order requirements, special pricing, and send to local vendors.
- Work closely with factory and local vendors to maintain special pricing and customer delivery requirements.
- Investigate and resolve customer invoicing problems, including pricing errors, price protection, customer rebates, spiffs, special pricing claims, short shipments, and freight claims.
- Provide backup order support for other Life and Device Solutions order desk areas and duties due to illness or vacation or workload.
- Act as inside support for internal contacts such as account managers, marketing, demand planning, distribution, warehouse, and finance staff.
- High school graduation with 1-year related work experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and SAP ECC order experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and identify potential solutions.
- Knowledge of products, software, and accessories to assist customers with order placement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate unfavorable circumstances.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
