About the Role: As a Senior Financial Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs for various projects. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and prepare elemental format estimates (Classes B, C, D). Additionally, you will create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Develop and implement cost monitoring and reporting systems
  • Analyze tenders and recommend awards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in cost estimation or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation principles and techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Estimated Salary Range: $38.00 per hour, based on 30-40 hours per week, commensurate with experience. The estimated annual salary range is between $78,720 and $95,360, based on full-time employment.
