Job Description

Lillooet Dental is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dentists and patients.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week.
  • The successful candidate will have experience working in a healthcare environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule appointments and manage schedules.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and dentists.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and relay information as needed.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  • Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations.
  • Set up and maintain filing systems, both manual and digital.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update databases.
  • Consult with clients after sales to provide ongoing support.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Familiarity with dental software an asset.

Compensation

  • Estimated salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Benefits include dental plan, permanent employment, and 35 hours of work per week.
