Technical Sales Specialist for RAN Solutions

Role Overview

Mavenir is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Technical Expert to join our team and provide technical pre/post-sales support for RAN solutions in Canada. This role involves creating customized product and service solutions, bid support, and implementation support. The ideal candidate will assess products and services to meet customer needs and develop product specifications. They will also create commercial solutions for product development and implementation, providing post-sale technical expertise during the installation, implementation, and maintenance of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support throughout the selling process.
  • Interact with internal and external customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Work with Account managers to identify and qualify customer and prospect opportunities and define requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of Mavenir's Open RAN vision and strategy.
  • Lead and manage technical input to customer RFXs.
  • Understand pricing mechanisms and support the sales team in building commercial proposals.
  • Maintain open communication with customers to assist with future needs.
  • Prepare technical sales materials, including collateral, quotations, timelines, project plans, and solution proposals.
  • Lead Proof of Concept activities with customers.
  • Create content to support the technical strength of Mavenir's solutions.
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding of LTE/5G RAN solutions, including O-RAN, radio technology, and RAN software features.
  • Good understanding of RAN (4/5G) development.
  • Solid understanding of carrier-grade container environments.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian Radio market.
  • Highly proficient listener and consultative sales style with the ability to shape customer thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation forms at senior levels.
  • Acute attention to detail and organization.
  • Energetic and creative with an upbeat, positive attitude.
  • A team player who works well with others, has strong influencing skills, and is creative and entrepreneurial.
  • Significant, proven, and demonstrable cellular wireless industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
