Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Halifax Dartmouth. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
- Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Shopping and Supplies: Shop for food and household supplies.
- Additional Tasks: Clean changing rooms and showers, address customers' complaints or concerns, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train.
- Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player.

Hours: 30 hours per week
