The Role:
Solar sales consultant at Firefly Solar Inc., working in Western Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance to homeowners considering solar energy solutions.
The Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for a motivated individual with a background in sales or customer service and experience in the solar industry. As a renewable energy sales professional, you'll have the opportunity to educate clients on solar technology, answer detailed questions, and build long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct solar consultations with potential customers,
- Prepare documentation, gather necessary client information, and schedule client meetings,
- Answer client questions, provide product details, and address inquiries to build customer interest in solar energy solutions,
- Coordinate with your sales team to help meet sales targets and track progress, ensuring alignment with company goals,
- Educate clients on solar technology and answer detailed questions,
- Collect necessary information for custom solar proposals,
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction,
- Proactively engage with local communities and potential clients through direct outreach to generate leads and increase awareness of our solar solutions.
Your Qualifications:
- Background in sales or customer service; experience in the solar industry is a plus, minimum 1 year's experience,
- Strong presentation skills and ability to explain complex information,
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent follow-up skills,
- Reliable transportation for travel to client locations,
- Comfortable with technology and using CRM tools.

Compensation and Benefits:
