About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Scott Care Pharmacy. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Intake: Interview patients to gather comprehensive case histories, accurately capturing vital information for medical records.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate appointments with patients, healthcare providers, and specialists, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Insurance Claims: Process and submit insurance claims in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Filing System: Maintain a well-organized filing system, ensuring easy access to patient records and confidential documents.
  • Office Procedures: Develop and implement efficient office procedures, optimizing workflows and productivity.
  • Medical Reporting: Prepare and format electronic medical reports, spreadsheets, and documents for review by healthcare professionals.
  • Confidentiality: Initiate and maintain secure and confidential medical files and records, upholding patient trust and confidentiality.
  • Financial Statements: Prepare and present financial statements and reports, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary Education: High school graduation certificate required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, initiative, accuracy, client focus, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying workloads and deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
