Job Title: Security Operations Centre Guard

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Centre Guard to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Operations Centre Guard, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating all systems in the Security Operations Centre, ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and operate all systems in the Security Operations Centre, including communication systems, CCTV, access control, fire panels, and security records.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to security staff and ensure that all security guards adhere to procedures.
  • Record all information in a detailed and factual manner, including incident reports and security logs.
  • Follow communication guidelines issued by the client, including prompt notification of incidents and using correct notification groups.
  • Be familiar with all Brookfield Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Procedures.
  • Have strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to think quickly on your feet and defuse difficult situations.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of security experience, with a minimum of 1 year of dispatch or scheduling experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of security supervisory experience.
  • CPO Certification.
  • Police Foundations Diploma or Law and Justice Studies Degree.
  • A Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C.
