CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $76,800 to $115,200 CAD, reflecting our investment in helping our colleagues and their families achieve their mental, physical, and financial well-being.
Our comprehensive compensation package includes a base salary, variable compensation, and other key benefits such as health and wellness programs, retirement savings plans, paid time off, banking privileges, discounts, career development opportunities, and recognition and rewards programs.
Job DescriptionThis role plays a critical part in leading complex investigations, applying sound methodologies to collect, preserve, and analyze evidence, assessing and prioritizing files, and working effectively with counterparts at other financial institutions, law enforcement, non-profits, and government agencies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting professional and timely investigations, identifying procedural weaknesses, communicating industry and typology risks and trends, maintaining and establishing working relationships with internal partners, and applying sound methodologies to collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence.
This role also involves leading work streams, acting as a project lead for large or complex projects/initiatives, evaluating process effectiveness, recommending enhancements, planning and delivering efficient processes, conducting research projects, supporting presentation and communication development, adhering to enterprise frameworks, monitoring service levels, and exercising discretion in managing correspondence and confidential matters.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial intelligence, risk management, and investigative techniques, with strong knowledge of related laws, regulations, and industry trends. They will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build stakeholder alignment and work independently as a senior technical lead.
