Salary: $25-$35 per hourJob Description: Specimen Collection Technician

The Specimen Collection Technician plays a vital role in the laboratory process, responsible for greeting patients, explaining the specimen collection process, and ensuring patients have followed necessary test protocols prior to collection. This includes performing phlebotomies, connecting/disconnecting holter monitors, and completing related documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent preferred.
  • Phlebotomy experience is an asset.
  • Good computer skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
