Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure and a strong background in Life and Annuities Insurance. This role offers the opportunity to work on pioneering projects that drive our company's mission forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting and driving definition of key aspects of the architecture, identifying and resolving gaps or key issues.
  • Works with teams from various groups to provide architectural recommendations & guidance.
  • Providing architectural direction and communicating architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies.
  • Delivers architectural initiatives that align with client needs.
Requirements
  • Must have 8+ years of expertise in large and/or sophisticated system integration projects.
  • Require years of expertise in crafting software/platform/infrastructure architecture plans to support business outcomes.
  • Hands-on demonstration of a strong understanding of various integration and architecture technologies.
  • Experience in cloud platform Microsoft Azure is a requirement.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Solid understanding of API design and integration patterns and cloud-based architectures.
  • Proficiency in integration technologies such as APIs, ESBs, microservices, message brokers, ETL tools, and protocols (REST, SOAP, etc.).
  • Expert in assessing trade-offs between various integration approaches and platform design approaches.
Compensation and Benefits

Estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON, Canada.
