Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Thorsby Hotel, Bar and Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff to prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory and ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Manage kitchen operations to meet the needs of our guests and maintain high standards of quality and service
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of quality and service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
