Job Overview

At Shenstone Motor Inn, we are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our hotel operations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Oversee and direct the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all staff are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to improve hotel performance, including revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Management: Manage and motivate a team of staff, including front-of-house, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, and that any issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Financial Management: Manage the hotel's revenue and expenditure, ensuring that financial targets are met and that the hotel operates within budget.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a senior management role within a hotel or similar environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong financial management skills and experience of managing budgets.
  • Able to motivate and lead a team of staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
