Logistics Coordinator

The Dispatcher role will under limited supervision, dispatch all vehicles to ensure on-time performance of service within an assigned geographical area.
Key Responsibilities:- Driver Assignment: Assign drivers to routes and vehicles, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Dispatch Duties: Complete daily dispatch tasks and statistical summaries, maintaining accurate records.
- Communication: Utilize two-way radio communication to coordinate with drivers and other team members.
- Payroll Management: Prepare and submit accurate payroll data for drivers.
- Route Optimization: Assist in assigning drivers to routes and vehicles, and organizing routes on a regular basis.
- Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records of operational information, including route documentation and driver details.
- Customer Service: Act as a primary contact point for parent, school, and board inquiries, providing accurate and reliable information.
- Issue Resolution: Escalate unresolved issues to management in a timely manner.
- Education: High School Diploma
- Skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, ability to organize and prioritize tasks, multitasking, computer literacy, and keyboarding experience.
- Software: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
