We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at L'Écluse, a renowned restaurant known for its exceptional dining experience. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals for our discerning customers.
Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Customer Satisfaction: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Logistics: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, time management, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment
L'Écluse is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. We are committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment that encourages our team members to grow and develop their skills.
Language
English or French language skills are required for this position.
Work Hours
30 to 35 hours per week.
