Executive Chef

We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at Sal's Famous Athabasca. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities:- Plan and prepare menus that cater to our customers' diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared efficiently and safely.
- Manage inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving customer satisfaction and increasing revenue.
To succeed as an Executive Chef at Sal's Famous Athabasca, you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- No prior experience is required, but having 1-6 months of related experience would be beneficial.
- A strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
This role requires:
