Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Cleaner to join our team at Fairmont Banff Springs. As a Stewarding team member, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchens, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deep clean all kitchens, including floors, walls, ceiling tiles, hoods, and cooking surfaces
  • Polish and buff all stainless steel in the areas
  • Responsible for cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces
  • Removal of all trash left in the kitchen at the end of shift
  • Ensuring floors and work areas are clean, dry, clear of hazards and obstructions
  • Adhere to and follow ALLSAFE health and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Previous experience an asset
  • Ability to operate industrial machinery
  • Constant lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, kneeling, and carrying up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours
  • Exposure to kitchen equipment, sounds, fumes, chemicals, working in hot, humid & cold environments
  • Passionate and organized about maintaining a clean safe working environment
