Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team in Lachine, optimizing supply chain operations and ensuring the production of high-quality products.
About This OpportunityThis role is for a dynamic individual who can supervise a team and optimize manufacturing processes while adhering to safe and efficient practices. As a key member of our Coca-Cola Canada team, you will be responsible for managing employee performance, supporting efficiency and key performance indicators, and maintaining product quality standards.
Responsibilities- Employee Management: Schedule, manage absences, staff training, evaluation, and development in a unionized environment.
- Efficiency and KPIs: Support efficiency and key performance indicator management.
- Manufacturing Process: Understand and manage the manufacturing process including mixing, filling, and packaging.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures or shutdowns that result in downtime.
- Product Quality: Manage overall product quality to meet all standards and specifications.
- Additional Shifts: Possibility of additional Saturday shifts depending on operational needs.
- Reporting: Generate production reports.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work in synergy with other departments (logistics, maintenance, quality).
- Bachelor's Degree: Equivalent work experience acceptable.
- Experience: A minimum of four years in a unionized manufacturing and production environment, with at least two years as a direct supervisor.
- Bilingualism: French and English language proficiency required.
- Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of GMP, health and safety standards, HACCP, and ISO standards.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent knowledge of continuous improvement principles and methodology tools for problem-solving and leadership performance.
- Computer Skills: Intermediate computer and database skills; SAP expertise an asset.
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience, as well as benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
