The Screening Admin Support - Clerk III is a key role in the CancerCare Manitoba Screening Programs team, responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks with a focus on data entry, client support, and appointment management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clerical administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and speed
- Support clients in accessing cancer screening services
- Manage appointments and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional client service and communication
- Work collaboratively with the Screening Programs team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Medical Office Assistant program or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the internet
- Demonstrated data entry speed and accuracy
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare clinical environment
- Experience with electronic patient charts and electronic information data systems
- Knowledge of population health and Cancer Screening Programs
