We are seeking a talented Applied Scientist to join our team at Thomson Reuters Labs. As an Applied Scientist, you will be part of a global interdisciplinary team of experts, working on cutting-edge AI research and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative AI solutions using state-of-the-art information retrieval, natural language processing, and generative AI techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify compelling solutions at the intersection of user need and technical feasibility.
  • Experiment, build, and deliver AI-powered products that serve Thomson Reuters customers in new and exciting ways.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI research and engineering, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation in our products.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual with a strong background in AI research and engineering. You should have:

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline or Master's plus a comparable level of experience.
  • At least one year of industry experience building IR/NLP/ML systems.
  • Solid software engineering skills for prototyping.
  • Outstanding communication and data analysis skills.
