Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Transformation Leader to join our team at SGS Maine Pointe, a global supply chain and operations consulting firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with expertise in procurement strategy to drive compelling economic returns for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your experience to collaborate with our Delivery Teams to deliver superior results based on the scope of the assignment.
  • Work closely with clients and SGS MP resources to identify and analyze issues/inefficiencies and develop a roadmap for improved procurement processes.
  • Implement solutions that result in quantifiable cost savings, improved sourcing capabilities, and strategic procurement processes for assigned clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in management, supply chain, engineering, operations management, business, or a relevant field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of procurement strategy, purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supplier relationship management experience, including experience with traditional purchasing processes and a combination of top-tier consulting firm and in-house/industry experience.
  • Experience with maintenance and repairs (labor and materials) is a must.
  • Must have previous work experience in the downstream oil and gas business.
  • Experience with leading and driving complex operation transformation engagements in a customer environment where change management was critical to success.
  • Strategic sourcing approaches and methodologies.
  • Able to develop, sustain, and proactively manage value-added customer relationships.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to solve complex business issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing customers and multi-task multiple assignments on one engagement.
  • Demonstrated negotiation, change management, and influence skills.
  • Proven initiative, drive, and focus on details.
  • Able to effectively manage change.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding written and oral communications, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Detailed-oriented problem solver with a proven ability to recognize a problem and implement corrective action when needed.
  • Will to travel extensively, up to 85% (Canada and US travel).
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
